The electronic clutch and motor brake offer active protection for the user in case of kickbacks or disk blockage. A dust filter protects the motor from coarse dust particles, while overload protection safeguards both the user and the machine. The tool-free protective hood allows for quick adjustments, enabling flexible use in all applications. The quick-release nut facilitates fast, tool-free accessory changes. DEWALT 54 Volt XR FLEXVOLT Li-Ion batteries are backwards compatible and fit almost all machines from the 18V XR range.
