Defender 2DM Modular System

For optimal accessibility, the modular cable bridge Defender 2D M has been developed based on our popular Defender MIDI cable bridge. It consists of a central part compatible with MIDI and a ramp, which can be expanded and combined in any way, both in length and width, with extremely easy handling.

Short Ramp

A fully traversable ramp can be attached to each central part. The load capacity of the ramp matches that of the central part and is approximately 5 tons per 20 x 20 cm area. This also makes it significantly easier to drive over the cable bridges with forklifts and trucks.

The symmetrical design of the ramps simplifies assembly, and you will never have to search for the right attachment again. The parts are multidirectionally usable, with no right or left elements. Detailed assembly plans are also not required. Thanks to this symmetry, optimal stability in both longitudinal and transverse directions can be achieved by laying out central parts and ramps in a half-bonded manner, while avoiding losses such as adapters and connectors.

The connections have been designed to provide enough play for easy assembly while still offering sufficient stability. For example, the longitudinal connection of the ramps consists merely of a small projection that locks in place with pressure from above. Therefore, the elements do not need to be lifted again after the transverse connectors are inserted. To further ease handling, the ramps are equipped with an ergonomic carrying handle.
