Although this umbrella protects against sunlight, other factors such as reflection (from water, sand, etc.), heat, and time of day should be considered. Therefore, proper behavior includes wearing sunglasses, a hat or cap, regularly applying sunscreen, and staying hydrated.

The Paruv 160 umbrella withstands winds up to 20 km/h with a base that is anchored 25 cm into the sand.

Purchasing the orange screw base separately increases wind resistance by 10 km/h. When the side walls are attached, the pockets filled with sand, and the umbrella's base pressed into the sand, the umbrella remains stable in a tilted position with tailwind up to 20 km/h.

All Paruv umbrellas can be tilted 35° and 50° with the accessory "Tilt incline paruv," which can be purchased separately and exclusively at Decathlon.
