Suitable for signal switching and for use with miniature relays with transistor input/low power and coil disturbance. Not suitable for inductive or inrush current loads (e.g., incandescent lamps). Cynergy3's horizontal float switches offer a variety of horizontal switches with WRAS approval and a cost-effective, compact design. These horizontal float switches consist of a reed switch and a rotating actuation magnet and can be used for normally closed or normally open operation. The switching function can be reversed by mounting the float switch so that the float can move upwards instead of downwards away from the body. WRAS approval explained: WRAS is the standard against waste, misuse, excessive power consumption, or contamination of the water supply and must meet appropriate quality and standards.
