The UniCam connector is an ideal solution that emphasizes all the requirements of a field-installable connector. This is achieved by simply coupling visible light into the connector end face.

The special design of the UniCam connectors makes stray light, which occurs with suboptimal fiber positioning in the splice, visible in an indicator field. Fiber positioning is error-free as soon as the light in the indicator field becomes noticeably darker. The installer thus receives immediate quality feedback and can readjust if necessary.

The UniCam connectors can be installed directly on 900 µm solid fibers (iMIC cables) or with a splitter adapter, using individual elements of 900 µm, 2.0 mm, or 2.9 mm, on central or ribbon cables with 250 µm fibers.
