The Maximum Traction Silica Compound, with a very high silica content, delivers excellent wet grip and optimized braking performance due to its special damping properties. The high cold flexibility of the Winter Performance resins significantly shortens braking distances at all winter temperatures. The Flexible Polymer Matrix enhances grip on all winter road surfaces through reinforced interlocking between the road and the tyre.

The new Multi Channel Sipe design guarantees a constant flow of water from the tyre contact surface through a water drainage channel molded into the tread block. Vertical channels of the lamella support water drainage, while horizontal channels drain the lamella through the main profile groove. Liquid Layer Drainage minimizes the risk of accumulated meltwater on frozen road surfaces, ensuring constant contact with the road and significantly shortening braking distances on icy roads.
