VDE-tested side cutter safety pliers with 1,000 V protective insulation. The pliers from the Diamond Plus series comply with the current standards of IEC 900, IEC 60 900, and VDE 0682/Part 201. These strict safety guidelines mandate 10 different quality tests for the insulation protection of the pliers. In addition to type testing, the independent testing body of VDE regularly conducts inspections of production and storage. The pliers are tested in a water bath at a test voltage of 10,000 V AC for breakthrough and flashover. This guarantees piece-tested safety. Optimized leverage ratios, smooth operation, and ergonomic grip design allow for power-saving and ergonomic work. Made from the best high-alloy tool steels, fully oil-hardened, with all cutting edges additionally inductively hardened. Surfaces are highly polished and elaborately chrome-plated.
