The crimping tool features interchangeable crimp profile inserts that are secured in the tool body by a locking mechanism. This allows for a quick profile change in seconds without the need for additional tools. Two additional crimp profiles that are currently not in use are securely stored in the two integrated magazine holders of the tool arms. The tool body is made of strong, specially tempered, hardened steel sheet and has a lever ratio for reduced hand force. The adjustable ratchet mechanism with forced release ensures compliance with standard crimping pressure. Ergonomic 2-component grip covers and a complete set of hardened precise crimp profile inserts are also included. The weight, including 3 crimp profile inserts, is only 690 g. The supplied crimp profile inserts are No. 10 6015 (for BNC/TNC coaxial connectors), No. 10 6017 (for unshielded 8-pole modular connectors), and No. 10 6019 (for shielded 8-pole modular connectors, Cimco design and similar).
