The C.A 6470N is an ergonomic, complete device that measures with high accuracy, allowing all measurements to be set via an integrated rotary switch on the control panel. This robust and shock-resistant device is compact and suitable for on-site use. The connection of the grounding electrode has been simplified with color-coded terminal markings. The C.A 6470N features a backlit LCD display and a rechargeable battery that can be charged using an external charger. It is equipped with a function for automatic or manual storage of measurement values. Data can be transferred to a computer for processing via a USB output.

Thanks to the 4-pole measurement method, the C.A 6470N offers up to 10 times higher measurement accuracy. This method allows for the measurement of low grounding resistances, making it particularly suitable for industrial users, such as utility providers.

The C.A 6470N guarantees reliable measurements:

Calculation functions for experts:

• to calculate the earth coupling resistance, simply perform the three necessary measurements in succession, and the device automatically calculates the coupling coefficient
• for calculating the specific soil resistance, the programming of measurement distances allows for automatic calculation of R using either the Wenner or Schlumberger method.
