The "PAC" model series includes current clamps that utilize the Hall effect for measuring both direct and alternating currents.

To accommodate cables with a diameter of 30 mm or 2x24 mm and small busbars, two designs are offered. The model series includes the PAC1x clamps and the PAC2x clamps for higher current levels.

In conjunction with an oscilloscope, this isolated current sensor can be used with its two measurement ranges to display peak current levels of up to 600 A DC with a bandwidth of up to 30 kHz. The current transformer features a simplified zero adjustment (ZeroDC) and a selectable switch to standby mode.

Thanks to a Micro-USB port (Type B / 5V DC), these new models can now be powered by an external standard source. In the event of a power failure, an internal 9V battery takes over the power supply.
