The "PAC" model series includes current clamps that utilize the Hall effect to measure both direct and alternating currents.

To accommodate cables with a diameter of 39 mm or 2x25.4 mm and small busbars, two designs are offered. The model series includes the PAC1x clamps and, for higher current ratings, the PAC2x clamps.

In conjunction with an oscilloscope, this isolated current transformer can be used with its two measurement ranges to display peak current levels up to 10 A DC with a bandwidth of up to 1400 kHz. The current transformer features a simplified zero adjustment called ZeroDC and a selectable switch to standby mode.

Thanks to a Micro-USB port (Type B / 5V DC), these new models can now be powered by an external standard source. In the event of a power failure, an internal 9V battery takes over the power supply.
