Product details

Type A-M cable lugs are made of electrolytic copper tube (SE-Cu according to DIN EN 13600). The tube wall thickness ensures the best electrical conductivity and mechanical protection against vibrations and the pulling of the conductor. Our cable lugs are annealed to guarantee optimal ductility; this is absolutely necessary as the cable lugs must withstand strong deformation and the usual twisting of the tab during use when crimped. Even under vibrations, the connectors must ensure a reliable contact. In this context, hardness plays a crucial role in preventing fractures and cracks. The inspection hole ensures the correct introduction of the conductor. The sleeve length has been chosen to ensure easy and correct positioning between the crimping inserts during crimping. All Kalitec tube cable lugs are equipped with a safety code system, e.g., A 24 (= 120 mm²). When crimping with the hexagonal crimping inserts ME, the same code (A 24) is stamped by the crimping insert into the hexagonal surface of the crimping point. This allows for easy verification during subsequent visual inspection and eliminates the risk of confusion. Cable lugs are electrolytically tinned to prevent oxidation. Our technicians are available for further inquiries.
