The CellPack Casting Resin EG 286 is a high-quality two-component PUR casting resin specifically designed for use in cable connections. It is suitable for plastic and paper-insulated low-voltage cables up to 1 kV, as well as for telecommunications and data cables and medium-voltage cables. This casting resin not only provides mechanical protection but also guards against moisture. Outstanding features include halogen-free composition, excellent flow behavior, and the ability to prevent cracking under electrical and mechanical stress. Additionally, it ensures excellent adhesion to all cable materials and compensates for mechanical stresses through soft elasticity. With a low curing temperature and rapid curing time, it is particularly user-friendly. The resin is environmentally friendly and comes in a convenient two-chamber mixing bag that allows for easy handling. The shelf life is up to 40 months at temperatures between 15 and 35 °C, facilitating long-term use.
