Coconut coir is ideal for gardens, potted plants, and as seedling soil. It is made from dried fibers of coconut palms. The dried bark of coconut palms is compressed into a five-kilogram block. The product has a high absorption and retention capacity, allowing it to take up a large amount of liquid. Coconut coir has the advantage that the root ball of a plant does not harden when watered, as is the case with conventional potting soil. This allows more oxygen to reach the roots, ensuring better oxygen supply. Another positive feature is its structural stability and mold resistance. Additionally, the material is particularly environmentally friendly and consists entirely of renewable resources.
