Sporty and slim design for minimal wind irritation. DMC intercom mode allows for genuine intercom conferences with a range of up to 8 km between up to 15 bikers and up to 1.6 km between 2 bikers. Parallel audio streaming enables music and navigation instructions to continue during DMC intercom conversations. The DMC Bridge integrates Packtalk conversations with Bluetooth intercom devices or mobile phone callers. Private Chat allows for closed one-on-one conversations while hiding all other Packtalk conference topics in Bluetooth intercom mode. Supports 2, 3, and 4-way bike-to-bike intercom with a range of up to 1.6 km. Cardo Gateway facilitates intercom with third-party devices. "1+8" commute allows communication with 8 other bikers. Click-To-Click feature enables spontaneous recording of intercom conversations. Music and radio functionalities include FM radio with RDS and bike-to-bike reception (patent pending) and stereo music streaming (A2DP) with music sharing between rider and passenger. Connectivity with smartphones allows for mobile phone functions such as making, receiving, and rejecting calls, speed dialing, and conferencing with intercom. Bluetooth connectivity supports 2 devices. Intercom to mobile phone features automatic call transfer when out of range. User-friendly features include VOX for accepting/rejecting incoming calls by voice command, AGC for automatic adjustment of loudspeaker volume according to ambient noise and driving speed, and voice-supported menus in multiple languages. Device operation includes voice control for true hands-free use. The Cardo Connect app is available for Android and iOS devices, and the Cardo Community web platform offers software updates and device customization. It is IP67 certified, making it waterproof and dustproof, with a talk time of 13 hours (range is terrain dependent). Limited use may occur with certain iOS software versions. Sound is delivered through JBL speakers.
