Procedure
The lower part of the tester can first be pushed out of the running axis of the rotating work spindle (approximately 600 RPM) with light finger pressure. By gradually approaching the surface to be measured, the oscillating movement becomes smaller and smaller. When coaxiality of the upper and lower parts is achieved, the lower part moves along the workpiece surface. The position of the measured surface relative to the axis of the work spindle corresponds exactly to half the diameter of the respective probing head. Design: All parts are hardened and ground.
