Procedure
Using light finger pressure, press the lower part of the probe out of the run axis of the rotating work spindle (approx. 600 rpm.). Through slower feed of the surface to be probed, the oscillating motion becomes less and less. When coaxiality of the upper and lower part are achieved, the lower part gives way along the workpiece surface. The position of probed surface to the axis of the work spindle exactly equals half the diameter of the probe head.
