The BXPPABSG350500190-F01 BOXEXPERT from the Fleet series is a wall-mounted cabinet made of ABS plastic with a 2-point locking system, making it perfectly suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It is easy to handle and very quick to install. The Fleet series offers a cost-effective alternative to all steel sheet cabinets.

Steel cabinets are often expensive to purchase and have a high weight. This frequently leads to additional logistical efforts and handling challenges. In many cases, steel cabinets can be avoided in EMC-critical applications. The Fleet series cabinets from BOXEXPERT provide a cost-effective plastic alternative. The wall cabinet housing is made of very lightweight acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer (ABS), resulting in a weight reduction of about 50% for the same housing size. Despite the lower mass, the Fleet housing series is a robust alternative with an impact resistance of IK08. ABS plastic has high resistance to alkalis, oils, and salts. Unlike metal cabinets, the Fleet series has the advantage of being resistant to corrosive conditions without requiring additional coating of the housing surface.

Particularly for outdoor use, effective sealing of the electronic components against external influences is essential. The plastic housings of the Fleet series feature a foamed polyurethane (PU) seal. The PUR seal is low-wear and robust against weather and aging effects. The polyurethane remains elastic and resilient even with frequent operation of the cabinet door. In addition to the properties of ABS plastic, the housing seal ensures an enclosure protection rating of IP65. This makes the housing suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
