The abrasive grain, made from zirconium oxide-reinforced aluminum oxide and semi-precious corundum, allows for optimal material removal rates on metal while ensuring a long lifespan. Additionally, the extremely robust X-cloth serves as a stable backing, providing durability and consistently high performance on challenging surfaces. The full synthetic resin bonding of the abrasive grains to the X-cloth ensures optimal grinding behavior. It is designed for deburring and preparing welding work on carbon steel, structural steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals, as well as cast iron. It is also ideal for removing discolorations, deposits, and surface defects. Available with backing plates in both angled and straight designs, made from either fiberglass or plastic.
