Blum Space Step

Creating storage space in the plinth, easy access to the wall unit and allowing children to help easily and safely - the Space Step pull-out step brings many functions to the furniture plinth. The following three plinth designs can be realised with the Space Step: with recess, with recess and low plinth, flush-mounted. It can be realised with all box and guide systems and can be equipped with BLUM movement technologies. A 3-layer board (3S) with a minimum thickness of 21 mm is recommended for the plinth step. The tread surface must be slip-resistant, either by using an anti-slip mat that is directly connected to the tread surface or with a slip-resistant panel material. When extended, the Space Step locking mechanism secures the step from a load of 8 kg. With the corresponding version, the step surface can bear a maximum load of 150 kg. Set consisting of: 1 pair of tandem full-extension runners, left/right, nominal length 410 mm or 460 mm. 2 x upright profiles. 2 x corner connectors. 2 x upright feet. 2 x rear shelf supports. 1 x front connector (magnet and holding plate). 4 x spring buffers. 2 x stickers (safety instructions and manufacturer's certificate). 14 x flat-head screws 4x15 mm. 1 x assembly instruction. A plinth extension from a height of 150 mm to 250 mm can be integrated under the Space Step tread. Only 30 kg or 40 kg runners may be used for this pull-out, the dynamic load capacity is 20 kg. It can be realised with all box and runner systems and movement technologies. The components for the pull-out below the Space Step must be ordered separately. The cross profile is mandatory. Suitable pull-out systems with NL 500 mm: LEGRABOX, TANDEMBOX antaro, MOVENTO.
