Product details
An undemanding clover species for winter cultivation, crimson clover is ideal for enhancing soil fertility. Like all legumes, it is well-suited as a preceding crop for vegetable cultures with high nitrogen requirements. However, it should not be sown before or after other legumes such as peas or beans. Its blood-red flowers, which appear in May, are beautiful to behold and serve as a food source for many insects.
Tip: Additionally, crimson clover can also be used as an ornamental plant to beautify meadows or flower beds. With its long, blood-red flower spikes, it enriches any natural garden and is perfect as a cut flower for colorful wildflower bouquets.
