Wrist grounding as a safe method to dissipate electrostatic charge from individuals consists of an adjustable wrist strap made with woven silver-plated plastic fibers (close skin contact required) and a spiral cable that electrically connects the strap to the grounding point via snap buttons. The spiral cable includes a safety resistor of 1 MOhm on each connection side and is approved for use in workplaces with a nominal voltage of up to 250 VAC. To ensure adequate insulation, the strap should only be stored dry. Washing instructions for the strap: standard machine wash up to 30 °C with color and delicate detergent, tumble dry on low heat (gentle), do not bleach. Avoid contact with acidic or alkaline solvents. ESD protection remains effective for approximately 30 wash cycles. Connection recommendation: ESD grounding module with 3x10 mm snap button for table mounting or ESD grounding plug with 2x10 mm snap button and M5 connection for EU sockets.
