Wrist grounding as a safe method to dissipate electrostatic charge from individuals consists of an adjustable wrist strap made with woven silver-plated plastic fibers (close skin contact required) and a spiral cable that electrically connects the strap to the grounding point via snap buttons. The spiral cable features a safety resistor of 1 MOhm on each connection side and is approved for use in workplaces with a nominal voltage of up to 250 VAC.
