Belton Special

Decorative spray paint for a stylish glossy effect. It provides smooth surfaces with a valuable metallic shiny chrome effect and is particularly suitable for interior use. Please note that it is not abrasion resistant and should not be overcoated with clear lacquer.

Product benefits include valuable chrome silver effects, metallic gloss, high hiding power, and fast drying. It offers very good flow and easy application with a very high yield. Ideal for craft and decorative items such as lamps and vases.

The binder base is acrylic resins. For spray application, a cross coat of approximately 15-20 μm is recommended, with a spray distance of 15-25 cm. Drying times are as follows: dust dry after approximately 20 minutes, touch dry after approximately 60 minutes, and completely dry after approximately 24 hours. It is overpaintable with itself at any time.

For optimal paint build-up, the following primers are recommended:

• Metal: Belton basic rust protection primer (exterior), Belton basic universal primer, Belton special chrome effect.
• Wood: Belton basic wood primer, Belton special chrome effect.
• Plastic: Belton basic plastic primer, Belton special chrome effect.
• Styrofoam: Belton basic styrofoam primer, Belton special chrome effect.

Please remember not to overcoat with clear lacquer, as this will result in the loss of the special chrome effect. It is important to check plastic substrates for compatibility. All other substrates, such as stone, clay, ceramics, glass, rattan/bast, and cardboard/paper, must be primed with Belton universal primer. Ensure that the surface to be painted is clean, dry, and free of grease.
