Product details
Highly heat-resistant up to 650°C, this product is suitable for spray painting parts exposed to high temperatures, such as stove pipes, fire bowls, or chimneys. It is also suitable for areas of motor vehicles and two-wheelers, including exhaust systems.
Product advantages include:
- Heat-resistant special spray paint
- Long-term protection and color enhancement
- High surface hardness and resistance
- Good hiding power and fast drying
- Very good flow and easy application
Heat slowly, as the paint does not cure until 250°C. The binder base is silicone resins. For spray application, use 3-4 cross coats for approximately 30-40 µm (apply several thin coats, with a maximum of 30 µm per spray). The recommended spray distance is 15-25 cm.
Drying times are as follows:
- Dust dry: after approximately 30 minutes
- Touch dry: after approximately 60 minutes
- Fully dry: the varnish only cures at temperatures above 250°C, so warm up slowly.
You can paint over it with itself at any time. Note that a primer should not be used, as it is not temperature-resistant. The paint only hardens at 250°C, so heat slowly. Avoid spraying on synthetic resin painted surfaces, as the paint may lift. Only apply varnish to cold objects.
