Product details

The iron fertilizer from Beckmann & Brehm is a high-quality product specifically designed to combat iron deficiency in plants. Iron is an essential element for the formation of chlorophyll, which is crucial for photosynthesis and the vitality of plants. A lack of iron leads to discoloration of the leaves, which can become lighter or yellow, impairing the plants' nutrient production. The fertilizer is available in the form of iron sulfate, which dissolves well in water, allowing for precise application. Alternatively, a granular form can be used, which is ideal for spreading on lawns. The application of the iron fertilizer is particularly important for ornamental plants and lawns to promote plant health and growth and to prevent iron deficiency.

  • Contains highly water-soluble iron sulfate for easy application
  • Suitable for lawns and ornamental plants to combat iron deficiency
  • Granular form allows for easy spreading on lawns
  • Promotes plant vitality and improves leaf color.

Ingredients and instructions for use

Instructions for use
Apply 20 to 25 g/m² of iron fertiliser evenly at the beginning of autumn (September/October). The fertiliser can be applied by hand or with a spreader, after which the lawn should be thoroughly watered. 1 heaped tablespoon of iron fertiliser weighs approx. 18 g, 1 handful approx. 50 g. After application, the mosses will turn brown or black in colour. Then rake them out. The quantity to be applied can also be dissolved in water (e.g. 100 g for 5 m² of lawn in 5 litres of water) and then applied evenly. Application a few days after mowing at temperatures above 10°C supports the effect. Heavily stressed areas can be fertilised again after 8 to 10 weeks. If garden plants show signs of iron deficiency, such as leaf whitening and yellowing of young shoots, dissolve 20 g/m² of iron fertiliser in the water and apply evenly. Iron fertiliser is not a complete fertiliser! Your lawn also needs a complete fertiliser with nitrogen, phosphate and potassium for healthy growth. We recommend our organic-mineral lawn fertiliser. Warnings: Caution! Iron fertiliser causes rust stains on floor coverings (concrete slabs, tiles, etc.) and clothing. Remove any fertiliser accidentally spilt on tiles immediately. Also pay attention to residual fertiliser on shoe soles and animal paws. Do not walk on fertilised lawns until the fertiliser has thoroughly soaked in. ● Harmful if swallowed ● Causes serious eye and skin irritation ● May cause an allergic skin reaction ● Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product ● Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.
