Product details
Horngriess Gold is free from chemical and synthetic contaminants. It contains about 11% organically bound nitrogen, which is gradually released by soil bacteria and made available to the soil. The traditional fertilizer Horngriess has been enhanced here with the proven, purely plant-based fertilizer Phytogran, which is also permitted in organic farming. Together, these two are even more effective than individually: Phytogran activates soil life, thereby improving the utilization of Horngriess. The release of nutrients in this combination is better synchronized with the plants' needs. Approved for organic farming.

Instructions for use | Application is possible throughout the entire growing season, e.g. in spring for top dressing, during planting and in summer for top dressing. Sprinkle on before or after planting or sowing and work into the surface. Rainfall after application accelerates the effect. For a nitrogen requirement of 100 kg N/ha, apply approx. 900 kg Horngriess GOLD. Fruit growing: 6-97 kg/100 m², fertilisation in March; viticulture: 6-9 kg/100 m², fertilisation in mid-April; vegetable growing: depending on the crop, i.e. weak, medium or strong growers. 10-12 kg/100 m² for basic fertilisation, for medium and heavy growers a top-up fertilisation during the main growth period with 5-7 kg/100 m²; ornamental plants: 7-10 kg/100 m², or 4-5 kg/ 1 m³ substrate, depending on basic fertilisation or cultivation period; lawns: In spring, summer and autumn a good handful per m², or 7-10 kg/100 m². Spread as evenly as possible and water the lawn afterwards; compost: Approx. 2-4 kg/m² improve the conversion and quality of the finished compost, especially if low-nitrogen materials such as straw or tree cuttings are used; new plantings, balcony and container plants: Mix in approx. 6 g per litre of potting soil. For pre-fertilised potting soil, reduce the application rate accordingly. Caution when using in organic substrates: depending on the specific conditions, the composts, peat, clays, organic fertilisers and other additives used may interact in unpredictable ways. Always test new formulations in small batches. |
