Calcium carbonate from seaweed is a product derived from deposits of the red algae Lithothamnium Calcareum in Brittany.
The lime contains 81% CaCO3 and 13% MgCO3. By using the seaweed lime, an improved fertilizer effect can be expected due to a continuous supply of trace elements. It achieves better nutrient storage capacity as well as stimulation of soil life. Thanks to its mild liming effect, there is no risk of caustic burns. The seaweed lime is in powder form and can be easily spread.
