The BeaverCraft K8a/14 curved wood carving chisel is a handy half-round chisel designed for wood carving with a curved shape. Due to its blade design, the handle does not touch the wood surface while carving. The BeaverCraft chisel in this series is intended for working with both soft and hardwoods without the use of a hammer. Only the strength of your hands is employed in wood carving.

Many carvers use chisels with various profile types and blade shapes to create intricate wood carvings and to accomplish the most complex and beautiful carving projects. One of the most popular tools for a carver is a curved chisel. This cutting tool can be found in the standard toolset of every master. This type of chisel is characterized by specific features due to its shape.

The handle is made of ash and is impregnated with oil. It should only be used for precise manual work, excluding the use of hammers.
