Baufan Schutzfarbe

Application area: Highly opaque, white special paint with film preservation for long-term protection of the paint film against mold infestation for wall and ceiling surfaces indoors. Ingredients: Synthetic resin dispersion, pigments, mineral components, water, additives, film protection agents.

Substrate: Suitable for substrates such as concrete, masonry, fillers, cement, gypsum, and lime plasters, drywall and other plasterboard panels, firmly adhering dispersion paint coatings, as well as textured wallpaper, glass fabric, and other paintable wallpapers and wall coverings. Ceiling panels made of polystyrene and similar surfaces. The substrate must be dry, clean, stable, and free from dust and grease. Remove loose material, old wallpaper, and poorly adhering coatings from the substrate. Prime highly absorbent, sandy, and chalking substrates with baufan Tiefgrund LF. Repair cracks, holes, and unevenness with a suitable baufan filler. Areas already infested with mold must be cleaned with baufan mold remover before the first coat.

Processing: Stir well before use and apply with a roller, brush, paintbrush, surface applicator, or suitable spray device. For optimal film protection, two coats are necessary. The paint can be diluted with a maximum of 10% water for the primer coat. After the first coat has dried thoroughly, the final coat should be applied undiluted. When coating larger areas, work wet on wet to avoid lap marks. Can be tinted with up to 5% full-tone and tinting color or a maximum of 0.2% universal tinting concentrate. Clean tools immediately after use with water.
