Extremely easy spring-assisted blade attachment for quick blade changes with automatic tensioning. Alternative blade attachment at 55° for flush cuts. Overall length 400 mm. The hacksaw, with its distinctive saw frame, features blades tensioned in the U-shaped frame. The limitation in cutting depth for hand hacksaws is represented by the distance to the frame. This design allows for the use of particularly thin saw blades, which would buckle in other saw types during bidirectional or non-pulling cutting movements. Thanks to the thin hand saw blades, the machining work is reduced due to the small cutting width. This type of saw thus represents the classic standard for hand saws in metalworking.
