The original winter traction aid from Norway gives the car fast and reliable grip on snow and ice. AutoSock for cars is ideal for vehicles with little space between the tyres and the wheel arch and works perfectly with optional tyres - even if snow chains are not recommended. AutoSock for cars is available in 10 different sizes and covers more than 500 of the most common tyre dimensions.

Wear and durability

AutoSock is made from 100% advanced industrial fibres. During the wear tests for ÖNORM certification, AutoSock was tested over 100km on dry tarmac. A major Japanese car manufacturer tested AutoSock for 350 kilometres on dry fresh snow. The wear and tear of AutoSock depends on the driving behaviour and surface:

• Surface (fresh snow, slush, ice, tarmac, concrete, gravel)

• Speed and driving behaviour (spinning wheels, emergency braking)

• Tyre dimensions, type, air pressure and profile

• Load and axle load
