SGF Starter Cable Highly Flexible 35mm² Black

Compared to conventional cables, these cables from the new generation feature up to 15% reduced conductor diameter.

Conventional, uncompressed multi-stranded conductor:

  • Large cable diameter due to conductor construction
  • Round individual wires

New SGF, compressed multi-stranded conductor according to VDE-0295-Class 2:

  • Smaller cable diameter with the same conductor cross-section thanks to compressed individual wires
  • Very flexible
  • Lighter

The smaller diameter can lead to the stripped cable sitting too loosely in the crimp terminals, which may prevent a clean crimping or even allow the cable to be pulled out after crimping.

Therefore, AUTARKING specifies the diameter of the stripped cable for all cables from 10.0 mm²:
Example: Cable cross-section 35.0 mm² (ø 8.0 mm).
