The standard EN ISO 20349:2017 sets extended requirements for the equipment of foundry and welding boots. The shoes must withstand various testing procedures related to extreme heat exposure and contact with molten metal. This is particularly true for the quality of the upper material as well as for the heat resistance of the sole complex. In an extensive casting test with TÜV Rheinland, Atlas successfully met all the requirements of EN ISO 20349:2017 for foundry and welding boots.
