Aquagart Pond Fabric for Pond Construction

A good seal naturally requires a solid foundation. However, the conditions of the soil are often insufficient. Therefore, we recommend the use of pond fabric to protect the pond liner from damage caused by the ground, such as rocky substrates, burrowing by moles, and root growth from trees and shrubs.

For optimal protection of the pond liner, we also recommend using pond fabric over the liner to prevent damage. This can occur from use as a swimming pond or from the high water pressure acting on sharp stones in the water.

There are various thicknesses available that can be chosen based on soil conditions and the size of the pond. The protective fabric is made from PP and PES synthetic fibers and is mechanically reinforced. It is rot-resistant, has a high puncture resistance, and is detector-tested.
