The separate storage of high-value bills and important documents is facilitated by an integrated additional compartment. For greater convenience and more protection against unauthorized access, the coin and bill compartments can be placed on the right or left as desired. A constant opening angle of 90° allows for optimal cashier access when opening the lid. The lid is mechanically guided during this process, accelerated, and decelerated. The result is a longer lifespan with a consistent opening speed.
