Ideal for medium sized plants.

The side walls have holes at the tips of the outward-facing cones through which the air can enter the root ball.

The inward facing cones of the side wall force the root in the direction of the outward facing cones with the air hole.

There, the water content drops and the oxygen content in the substrate rises, so that the cells in the root tip dry out, are pruned by air, so to speak.

The plant's compensatory reaction to this root pruning caused by air is increased root growth. The root tip branches out so that within a very short time a dense and fine-fibred root network develops.

This favours a firm, radial root ball. This effect means that the plant can absorb a larger proportion of nutrients.

Another advantage is that the higher proportion of air in the root area means that fewer pests settle or feel at home. The formation of mould is also prevented.

The porosity of the Air-Pot also creates better conditions for bacterial activity and increases the availability of nutrients for the plant.

With this high number of roots, which extends to the trunk, the root system is very efficient in its absorption of all available water and all provided nutrient salts.

Vital, vigorous and healthy plants are therefore guaranteed. The new and reinforced soil structure makes this Airpot ideal for indoor growing and can be used with any substrate.
