The Aeotec Smart Home Energy Meter allows you to determine the electricity consumption of your entire home affordably. Once the HEM is installed in an electrical panel, the device accurately and quickly monitors the total electricity consumption of your home. It then sends the data back to your smart home gateway via a wireless Z-Wave connection. This way, you receive a comprehensive overview of when and how much electricity you are consuming, almost in real-time.

The device is mounted on the wall or floor with a bracket. It is connected and powered via the AC cable to an outlet or the 230V terminal block. The device has three terminals and reports in watts and kilowatt-hours (up to a maximum of 60 amperes).
