ABB Transformer circuit breaker
Product details
The transformer protection switch MS132-0.16KT is a compact device with a width of 45 mm, designed to protect control transformers on the primary side. This device has a rated operational current of Ie = 0.16 A with push-in spring terminals. It provides fuse-proof protection against overload and short circuit. The short-circuit current is set to 20 times the rated operational current to handle the high inrush current generated by transformers. The device allows for manual connection and disconnection of the transformer from the network thanks to its integrated disconnection function. The transformer protection switch offers a rated short-circuit breaking capacity of Ics = 100 kA at 400 VAC and a tripping level of 10. Additional features include temperature compensation, a trip-free mechanism, a rotary handle with a clear switch position indicator, and a short-circuit trip indicator. The handle is lockable to prevent unauthorized changes. Auxiliary contacts, signal contacts, undervoltage releases, shunt releases, and connection distances are available as accessories.
