Combined surge protective device SPD Type 1+2, designed to protect low-voltage consumer installations from lightning currents and overvoltages. Tested SPD Type 1 and Type 2 according to DIN EN 61643-11. The devices can be used as surge protection devices according to VDE 0100 Part 443 and Part 534, as well as within the framework of the lightning protection zone concept. The devices are compatible with the System pro M compact series. Optionally, the SPDs with TS are equipped with a potential-free changeover contact. The variants with reserve varistor(s) provide additional protection for the installation, ensuring that at the end of the surge protector's lifespan, it is not completely disconnected from the network, but rather that a smaller additional varistor continues to provide basic protection, thus keeping the installation protected until the surge protector is replaced.
