FI/LS switches (RCBOs) provide personal and property protection as well as protection against electrically ignited fires in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-410 and DIN VDE 0100-530. They ensure the protection of single-phase circuits against overload and short-circuit currents, protection for sinusoidal alternating currents and pulsating currents with a smooth residual direct current component of up to 6 mA against earth. Additionally, they offer fault protection (protection against indirect contact), additional protection (with IΔn ≤30 mA), and fire protection (with IΔn ≤300 mA). They comply with the product standards IEC/EN 61009-1 and IEC/EN 61009-2-1. The regulations according to DIN EN 45545 (fire and smoke protection standard) R22-R26, as well as category 1 - class A and class B according to IEC 61373 (shock and vibration resistance), make the DS201 AT suitable for use in rail vehicles. The extensive range of accessories provides everything you need for your installation tasks. The approvals are: CCC (China), EAC (Russia), RCM (Australia). An optimal compromise between safety and operational continuity is achieved thanks to the interference resistance with surge current resistance (surge current waveform 8/20 μs) = 3,000 A against unwanted tripping and a 10 ms short-time delay. Rated breaking capacity according to IEC/EN 61009 Icn = 6 kA. The RCBO DS201 AT (Traction) Type A is single-pole protected (LS), double-pole switching.
