The high-performance circuit breakers of the S800U series protect cables and wires from overload and short circuits. They have a rated short-circuit breaking capacity of 50 kA at 240/415 V AC. Additionally, they can be used for voltages up to 240 V AC according to UL 489 with a breaking capacity of 50 kA. With its thermal tripping mechanism, it provides effective protection against overload, while its electromechanical tripping mechanism offers protection against short circuits. The S800U complies with the IEC/EN 60947-2 and UL 489 standards, making it suitable for industrial applications. Numerous approvals make it ready for global use, and the extensive range of accessories enhances usability. Thanks to the very fast arc extinction, your installation is well protected with the S800U.
