Despite its high level of protection, the half mask has several features that make it more comfortable to wear. It offers unrestricted visibility, is relatively lightweight for a mask of this protection level, and has integrated filter elements with very low breathing resistance. A parabolic exhalation valve ensures that it doesn't get too warm under the mask.
