3M 4515BXL Protective suit

The 3M 4515 coverall provides protection against hazards such as hazardous dust (Type 5), light liquid splashes and radioactive contaminated particles. It fulfils the requirements of a number of standards for chemical protective clothing, including EN 1073-2 for protection against radioactively contaminated particles, EN ISO 13688, EN 13034 Type 6 against liquid splashes and EN ISO 13982-1 Type 5 against fine dust. The suit is made of SMS material, which comprises a layer of spunbonded fabric on the inside and outside and a layer of meltblown material in between. The spunbond provides strength and splash protection, while the meltblown layers form a complex microfibre fleece that filters out dry particles. It is preferred for applications with particle or fibre loading, such as asbestos removal or cement production. The material has a thickness of 50 g/m² and offers optimum tear resistance and long wearing comfort. The coverall is made from a highly breathable material that effectively releases body heat and moisture when worn. It is equipped with a two-piece hood, a 2-way zip and a flap with elasticated back and ankle area for greater comfort when putting on and taking off.
