2K Pro Lacquer

Two-component clearcoat with very high chemical, petrol, and weather resistance for high-quality and long-term sealing of repair and new paintwork on vehicles and motorbikes, offering significant quality advantages. It features unique adhesion properties on difficult substrates such as metal, zinc, aluminium, copper, glass, galvanized metals, chrome, ceramics, and powder coatings. This clearcoat is chemically resistant and petrol resistant, with high scratch resistance and flexibility. It provides excellent corrosion protection and has a variable spray system. It can be overpainted with all common paint systems; however, 1K lacquers can only be overpainted with 2K clear lacquer after drying (note that only KH/alkyd lacquers are not suitable).

The 2K clearcoats are 100% transparent with very good flow and UV resistance, making them perfect for exterior use—the definitive top class of spray paints. This fast-drying 2K-PU lacquer has very high chemical, petrol, and weather resistance, along with the highest abrasion and scratch resistance. It also offers very good flow and polishability.

1K lacquers can be overpainted with 2K after complete drying (24 hours). Do not use on synthetic resin surfaces. Activate the 2K can as described with the red button underneath the can and shake for 2 minutes. Always check compatibility by test spraying.

Working time is 14 hours at 20°C room temperature after activation, with a pot life of 48 hours—after that, the can is cured. Drying time is 12 hours at 20°C room temperature. Caution: Use only outdoors or in well-ventilated areas. Wear protective goggles and a respirator. Avoid contact with eyes and inhalation. Always check for compatibility first, as there are numerous different paint suppliers on the market with various binders.
