The 1Control WHY can be used as a replacement or extension for remote controls with AM or FM modulation in the 433 and 868 MHz frequency range. It supports remotes with fixed codes as well as those with rolling codes. The four buttons can learn four different radio codes from other remotes. For each button, the manufacturer and frequency band can be set, allowing codes from different manufacturers and frequency bands to be stored on the four buttons. Learning is done together with the existing remote, so no changes to the receiving unit are necessary.
