Train is not a problem in most cases, but there are exceptions with older compositions in regional traffic and the single-deck IC tilting trains. This can usually be remedied quickly by removing a wheel.

Anything with stairs (old trams) in city traffic is practically impossible, buses are usually all low entry and therefore unproblematic.

We travel a lot by public transport and have managed from Lausanne to Maloja and Lugano to Romanshorn :-) On the whole, everything is no problem, you can always take the train. Only old trams in Zurich without a low entrance are not possible without folding.
