Question about Burley D'Lite X Double

According to my own research, the storage space itself is not divided by the bar, but only the opening is now divided. So there is room for a bag without any problems. :)

You are right, the entrance to the storage space is now blocked by a fixed bar in the middle, which is an absolute aberration in terms of ergonomics. The official Galaxus response above beats around the bush and fails to point out the real problem, which is that the entrance is now obstructed by this bar and it is no longer possible to put a full commission bag in there. Who cares that the space itself is not divided in two?
There is no model "X" and no model "without X". The X model is the 2019 model, which now costs almost CHF 1,000 with this gross ergonomic error. The "D'Lite" model without "X" is the previous model, exactly the same except for 2-3 insignificant details, in green colour. Galaxus was selling it for CHF 499 last year, and I jumped at the chance without any regret. No bar obstructing the entrance to the storage space, and I can assure you that it is extremely important that there is no bar, otherwise you simply cannot put anything in it properly, especially bags full of stuff, e.g. shopping. I can only encourage everyone not to buy this model "X", and of course not at this price...

What Francesca Corrocher writes is true. However, the opening on each side is only about 20cm x 20cm. Without the bar, a shopping bag, for example, would fit wonderfully, but with the bar it is really difficult. We therefore decided to take the exact same model without the bar (Burley D'Lite, without X). The only difference is that you can't adjust the two seats individually, but only together, but that's worth it to us if we can use the storage space properly. It's just a shame that Galaxus doesn't have this other model in its range.
