Question about Thule Chariot Sport 2

I would be seriously interested to know how the prices of these bicycle trailers far beyond a thousand francs can be justified. It can't be a bit of aluminium bar, fabric, plastic and rubber as materials. Are bicycle trailers made entirely by hand? I can't imagine that. So where do the costs come from that lead to these exorbitant prices? Thank you for the clarification!
