Yes, you must regularly lubricate the Spacewalk Lite with silicone oil to reduce friction and protect the running surface. Check every 2-3 months or after 25 hours of use to see if the running deck under the belt feels oily - if dry, top up with silicone oil (approx. 15-30 ml for both sides). The Urevo manufacturer's recommendation is to use silicone-based lubricants for the belt and motor to prevent wear.
